Subject-Verb Agreement: Identify the Core Sentence
In order to check for subject-verb
agreement, it is important to
isolate the subject and verb of a sentence. By doing this, you remove
other words that do not affect the verb, allowing you to focus only on
the subject and the verb.
Then you can more easily find out if the
correct form of the verb has been used.
